About Handmade on the Croft

I work from my home on the Isle of Lewis, in the Outer Hebrides of Scotland where I'm surrounded by beautiful panoramic views of moorland and sea. I've been selling my handcrafted wares online for a number of years now and have also sold locally and at craft fairs.  I'm proud to create well-made and original items which are handcrafted with care in my home. Born and raised on the Isle of Lewis in the Outer Hebrides, I briefly attended art college on the Scottish mainland but soon returned to the island, where I felt more inspired to live and work. Harris Tweed is one of my favourite fabrics - I love the depth and richness of this beautiful woven fabric which originates from this part of the world.
