My work is very much inspired by everything I see and hear around me on a daily basis. Fair Isle patterns are something I really enjoy adding to various items and being involved with making various objects for our Jarl Squads throughout the Isles I like to include Viking theme details where I can. The Shetland dialect is so intriguing and one I will never tire of hearing. It’s one you can pick out and recognise instantly even if you were on the other side of the world, it brings so many people together and usually ends with a tale of someone knowing your uncle Johns friends neighbour who lives down the road. I am a busy mum of 4 and a wife and am completely self taught and have grown my business and added new machinery over the last 10 years. Everything I make is handcrafted and finished by me. I use a variety of machines from cnc routers, manual engravers, laser engraver & cutter and some hand engraving, along with my newest edition of Pewter casting machines.
