The design for these earrings came from colours of autumn when the ferns start turning copper and the crofts green fades to straw tones. I combined green agate dzi beads with woodland jasper and deep russet mookaite and finished them with hand made rose gold coloured silver plated wire shepherd hooks.
Believed to be grounding stones, Agates are thought to bring emotional physical and intellectual balance. Agate Dzi beads are traditionally associated with Tibetan and Himalayan culture and believed to provide spiritual benefits, protection, and good fortune to the wearer. The term “Dzi” translates to “brightness” or “splendor” in Tibetan, and these beads are often decorated with symbolic patterns – circles, bands, waves, stripes, or eye-like designs.
Drop length 4cm. Rose gold coloured silver plated ear wires. Designed and created in the Isle of Skye, these come on an Indigo Berry earring card wrapped in tissue in an organza bag, along with information about the gemstones and tips on caring for your gemstone jewellery.
