Surrounded by the sea in the Isle of Skye, I am constantly reminded of the sea and shoreline and the design for these earrings came from seeing fishing nets and buoys. They feature dark blue jasper interwoven with rose gold plated wire. Jasper, the ‘speckled stone’, is believed to offer protective powers, and has been used in amulets throughout history. I just love the patterns and markings that occur naturally in this gemstone, making them look like little planets.
Finished with rose gold plated ear wires. Drop length 3cm. These come to you wrapped in tissue in a pretty organza bag, along with information about the gemstone and tips on caring for your gemstone jewellery.
