With rose gold plated quatrefoil and heart motifs, these ‘one of a kind’ earrings were inspired by medieval motifs in Pre-Raphaelite paintings. I love the colours and themes of the works of Rossetti and Burne-Jones in particular and wanted to recreate the feel of those paintings with the design for these earrings. They showcase a heart shaped cut of the gemstone mookaite. Found only in the Mooka Creek area of Western Australia, mookaite is also referred to as ‘Australian Jasper’ and comprises microscopic creatures fossilised and cemented into ferrous sedimentary rock by silica. Mookaite is thought to be a motivating and grounding gemstone and is associated with the Zodiac sign of Virgo so it makes a great gift choice for all you August-September babes!
Drop length 3cm finished with rose gold plated ear wires. They come to you on a signature Indigo Berry earring card, wrapped in tissue in a pretty organza bag, with information about the gemstone.
