Herringbone Stole from Bute in Ascog Natural Shetland Wool

This wonderfully soft and elegant stole has been designed and woven on the island by Bute fabrics and produced from 100% natural Shetland wool from the flock on the Hill of Ascog, Isle of Bute.

Ascog Farm covers an area of 150 acres of permanent and rough pasture including Ascog Hill. The land is well suited to providing year long outdoor shelter and grazing for the sheep.
With a history of three generations of family farming in the Isle of Bute, Scotland, Ascog Wool is now producing natural undyed yarn reared and sheared from the flocks of Shetland, Cheviot, Herdwick and Texel sheep. The yarn is used to produce hand crafted woven blankets, knitted jumpers, hats, bootees and other items all uniquely designed and created especially to enhance the natural colours and qualities of the wool.
