There is something magical about labradorite isn’t there? That glorious inner glow that made Native Americans call it ‘firestone’ – almost as if the stone was ‘dancing with fire’ inside. These earrings have plenty of that optical effect (or if you want to show off to your friends – its called labradorescence!) Hanging from silver plated Celtic ear posts they have plenty of movement, catching the light and shimmering with blues and greens under the surface of the gemstone. Magical indeed.

My island home overlooks the Loch Harport, with the Cuillins in the distance, so I am literally surrounded by inspiration—from the landscape, history and the culture of Skye.
