Labradorite Circle Pendant, Silver Plated
Product of: Isle of Skye
For the nature lover who loves to make a statement in those zoom meetings! How about this stunning labradorite pendant?
I love using labradorite in my designs – not least because of its fabulous colours. The design for this pendant came from the idea of oil on water and bubbles. Characterised by the optical effect known as ‘labradorescence’, labradorite was known by the Canadian First Nation peoples as ‘Firestone’. They believed it was literally ‘dancing with fire’ like the Northern Lights. And its easy to see why. This particular piece of labradorite shimmers with rainbow colours – like oil on water. To showcase the gemstone I gave it a simple wire wrap frame – using silver plated wire and continued up to create the bail. The back is finished with spirals to hold the gem firmly in place. Finished with tiny bubbles of prasiolite – green amethyst.
This easy to wear, eye catching pendant is 3cm in diameter and hangs from an 18 inch soft green cord finished with silver plated cord ends and clasp. It comes to you wrapped in tissue in a pretty organza bag, information about the gemstone and tips on Caring for Your Gemstone Jewellery.

Indigo Berry
Hi there, my name is Michelle Seviour— the creative force behind Indigo Berry. The beautiful Isle of Skye in the Scottish Highlands has been my home since 1990. My island home overlooks the Loch Harport, with the Cuillins in the distance, so I am literally surrounded by inspiration—from the landscape, history and the culture of Skye. I design and create one of a kind jewellery using a range of materials including silver, gemstones and vintage buttons. A creative idea might start with a glance out of the window at the changing colours in the loch, or perhaps draw on a memory of a Pre-Raphaelite painting from my love of Art. Each of my silver pieces are hallmarked at Edinburgh Assay Office. Got something special in mind? I love to work with you to bring your ideas to life, creating bespoke pieces of jewellery by commission .
