Mini wrapped pendant using square copper wire enclosing  a mini moonstone bead which measures just a half inch (1.5 cm). complete with fully adjustable chain. The copper has been antiqued with patina and sanded, polished and sealed with jewellers wax.

The pendant measures 2.5 cm from the top of the bail, to the bottom of the bead. The chain measures approx 20″.

Inspiration

I have really enjoyed making resin beads with alcohol inks and I’ve become fascinated by the ways the colours play together and I just had to incorporate the beads into a wearable item. I have always loved working with copper, especially seeing how the light changes the colours to chestnut and deep rich copper after oxidisation and buffing.

Copper can lose its shine after a while which can be restored with a light buff using a microfibre cloth. Keeping the pendant in the bag provided when not being worn will keep the shine for longer.
