A one off find, perfect circle from the base of an ancient glass bottle, the nipple being a maker’s mark, now the centre of a silver flower. My favourite. Adorned by fine silver wrap and hung on a thick leather cord with slip knots for adjusting the height of wear. 🙂 This piece is approximately 5cm across, it will sit beautifully high under the neck.
The indentations, as in not perfectly smooth, you see, are a mark of true sea glass. The tumbling with sand and stone making their mark upon its surface.
Hand worked fine silver by Catriona Spink, who also does a lot of beach cleaning, occasionally spotting gems like this one! 👌🏽♥️
