These drop earrings, would make a thoughtful gift – particularly with all the stresses of the current situation. Smokey quartz is believed to relieve stress and anxiety and to promote emotional calm, whilst Amazonite is sometimes called the ‘hope’ stone and is thought to offer soothing qualities. Whatever you believe, their contrasting shapes and colours remind me of the island landscape around me :- the contrast of earth and sky. Peaty brown smokey quartz, teamed with little pops of blue-green amazonite, finished with a gold plated celtic knotwork ear post and gold plated ear wires. Drop length 3 cm.
