Textured sterling silver pendant representing a Cockle shell with a gorgeous milky seagreen Aquamarine. Wearing this will put you in a beach mood whatever the season and is suitable for smart or casual wear.

Finding a beautiful shell on the shore is the inspiration behind this. Each shell is unique and tells its own story.

The pendant is approximately 20 mm x 20 mm and textured using reticulation and fusion which ensures each piece is a one off. The Aquamarine is sustainably sourced and is approximately 5 mm.

The common cockle is a species of edible saltwater clam, a marine bivalve mollusc in the family Cardiidae, the cockles. It is found in waters off Europe, from Iceland in the north, into waters off western Africa and as far south as Senegal.

Hallmarked in Edinburgh and comes on a snake chain. Length can be chosen in the drop down menu.

Comes in a gift box ready to be presented to that special person!

All online orders also come in a paper gift bag with a polishing cloth, jewellery care instructions and a small organza bag of seashells collected from my local beach.

Marion Miller Jewellery

Marion Miller’s passion for the Orkney Islands is long established and provides much inspiration for her work. The natural environment of the islands and elements provide inspiration for the shapes and forms of all her pieces. Having lived near the coast most of her life, Marion’s jewellery reflects her passion for the ever-changing nature of the sea, shore and natural world. Originally from the west coast of Sweden, she trained as a jeweller at Sir John Cass Faculty of Arts in London, graduating in 1997. It was then she started making wave rings, now one of her flagship designs. Her jewellery is designed and created by Marion herself and handmade in her workshop on the Island of Stronsay, overlooking the North Sea and the Sound of Auskerry. Marion works mostly in sterling silver and vitreous enamel in vibrant colours. Many of the pieces are also set with semi-precious gemstones. She uses several traditional enamelling techniques including champlevé and cloisonné. Her range of jewellery consists of highly wearable pieces which are finished to a high standard. From the maker to the wearer, they tell their own story.
