My otter necklace is made from pure silver and was designed and handmade by me here in the beautiful Isle of Mull. My jewellery is inspired by the glorious natural environment I live in and the wildlife that surrounds me. Many visitors come to Mull to spot the otters that live around the coastline. They can be seen just about anywhere in Mull though they can still be elusive and patience is needed! My aim was to make a beautiful piece of treasure that captures an otter’s beauty that the owner will be proud to wear.
This unique pendant has a 26mm diameter, roughly the size of a 2 pence coin, and would suit a male or female wearer. It sits on a knotted black cord with a sterling silver clasp that can be 16″, 18″, 20″ or 22″ in length. Each piece will be presented in a blue box embossed with ‘Drift’ and wrapped up as a gift.
