Log book (18cm x 13cm) plain paper journal with a cover made of sustainably sourced, Portuguese yellow ‘cork fabric’, making it flexible and robust.
Cork is naturally water resistant and the cover can be wiped clean with a damp cloth.
The book block is made of 100% long fibred cotton rag paper, approx. 180 pages of smooth surface 100gsm paper.

Cork is naturally water resistant and the cover can be wiped clean with a damp cloth. The inside is black lined with yellow cork ‘block sleeves’. An elastic & cork pen holder is attached to the cover, not only holding your pen in place but also keeping any loose papers & keepsakes safe. The corners have metal covers.
The book block included is made from 100% long fibred cotton rag paper, approx.. 180 pages of smooth surface 100gsm paper. It is vegan and acid free, great for note taking, sketching or drawing in ink, crayon or watercolour.

Brue Art is named after the village myself and my husband moved to in 2017, swapping life in Cambridgeshire for a new one on the Isle of Lewis. I'm now semi retired, allowing me time to rekindle my 'artistic side', which had been put on hold for many years due to work.
I grabbed the chance to learn more skills, portrait painting in oils, print making, textile design, jewellery making and book binding, attending many courses and tapping into the wealth of knowledge available on the island.
