Inspiration
I have always loved working with copper, especially seeing how the light changes the colours to chestnut and deep rich copper after oxidisation and buffing.
As I use my sheep’s fleece to make scarves, cowls and shawls it feels natural for me to want to make pins and brooches to adorn them.
Reviews
Very pleased with this delicate little pin – second one I’ve purchased. Received very quickly.

Creative Croft
I live in the northern most part of rural mainland Shetland on a croft where I tend native Shetland sheep, goats and chickens. The chickens are for their eggs, the goats are for their milk and the sheep are for their lovely wool, which I process on the croft by hand. My husband hand shears, I wash, dye, spin and weave into colourful scarves, shawls and cowls. All our sheep are lovingly reared and known by name. I have a strong interest in metalwork, particularly copper and silver jewellery and I fashion pins/brooches for my scarves and shawls. I love working with gemstones and have recently begun making resin beads for the pendants that I make in copper and silver wire.
