The picture is made using sheet glass, frit, dichroic glass and millefiori. Multiple firings are needed for all the details to give this little owl his character!
The sky is transparent blue with shards of dichroic glass which further catch the light. The ground is made from sparkling blue glass.
It is mounted on a chunk of wood from Coll!
The glass square measures just over 9cm both ways.
