This original textile piece was created using acrylic paint layers of sea greens and light blue hues painted directly onto calico canvas to capture the view beyond Seilebost to Luskentyre, in the Isle of Harris, The piece has a delicate layer of stitches to depict the gentle movement of the sea with more textural areas to depict the maram grass.
