Peat Track, Hebrides

This original textile piece was created using acrylic paints illustrating the deep purple and hues of Scottish heather painted directly onto cotton canvas to capture the vibrant peatlands found in the Outer Hebrides.  The piece has an intricate textural layer of stitches to depict the essence of the moorland.

The piece is displayed in a white woodwashed frame.
Size with a white mount aperture size 23cm x 23cm and mount aperture is 13cm x 13cm
