Handmade scarf pin which I have fashioned in the Viking style. The sterling silver wire has been shaped and beaten to strengthen, then polished, buffed and sealed with jewellers wax. Can be used to secure scarves and shawls or just worn as an adornment

Inspiration
I have always loved working with silver and copper metal and seeing how the light changes the colours to chestnut and deep rich copper after oxidisation and buffing.
As I use my sheep’s fleece to make scarves, cowls and shawls it feels natural for me to want to make pins and brooches to adorn them.
