The West Coast
This is a print of an original oil and pastel painting I did of the West Coast of Scotland. The art work is 8 inches. The stiff white card mount is 10 inches. I did an under painting using acrylic paint, newsprint and oil pastels followed by a final layer of oil paint to create dramatic colour, texture & depth. The inspiration for this was from a cycle at sunset & seeing the road home meandering before me! I have backed this with stiff card and placed it in a cellophane presentation bag so it makes a really nice gift.
