Hello, my name is Cathie and I have a studio on the Isle of Bute. I am a self taught felt and textile artist.
I have always loved working with my hands,my grandpa brought me a sewing machine for my 18th birthday birthday and I have never lost my love of sewing. I discovered felting much later in life and if I'm not sewing or felting I'm probably knitting, gardening or reading.
I make wet felted pictures and gifts, handbags, bowls, scarves and sewn products such as bunting, Reuseable bags and even Christmas Crackers.
