A set of six round birch wood coasters with a vintage French theme – old Parisian print, faded type, soft sepia tones and little hand-finished touches.
Made in Orkney by Quiet Space Arts, who works from a small home studio crammed with materials for projects like this one.
Each coaster is around 10 cm across and a different image, so the set works together while every cup gets its own little scene. They arrive in a letter-sized box, ready to use or wrap.
A nice gift for anyone with a soft spot for vintage paper, Paris, or a properly mismatched set on the kitchen table.

I have been working in the jewellery and art scene here in Orkney for over 20 years, how time flies when one is having so much fun creating for people who support small businesses. I have been making wire wrapped cabochons and beads for over 5 years and enjoy making them. Being disabled I work from home in my wee craft room and is crammed full of things to make.
