Bee

A lino-cut print of a bee, hand-printed in black on heavy watercolour paper, with the stripes of its body picked out by hand in warm orange and yellow watercolour. The word “BEE” sits below it in the same cut-and-printed style.

It is the work of Zoe Moffatt, an artist in the Small Isles. Because each one is hand-printed and then hand-painted, no two are exactly alike.

The print is roughly A5 size, a bright little piece of art that fits a standard frame.
