Deer Island Rum Raisins

Our rum soaked raisins are a byproduct of our production process. We use raisins to sweeten our spiced rum. They are soaked in the rum alongside our unique spice blend and orange peel, so not only are they boozy you will get hints of our spices in them too.
Not only can our raisins be used to make a mean last minute Christmas cake or Christmas pudding, they can be used in many cakes and desserts. We love them in brownies, cookies, melt in the middle puddings and even mixed in with vanilla ice cream. During the summer season The Island Bakehouse uses them in a range of baking that we sell in our distillery shop.
