These beautiful, classic drop earrings dangle on secure sterling silver kidney wires, revealing the Herringbone weave, etched into their surface, as they catch the light.

Process: I etch silver with my abstract pattern based on the classic herringbone weave that you often see in Harris tweed.  I have moulds made of my etched pieces, which are then cast in recycled silver, using the lost wax casting method.  I hand finish and polish these to a high shine, and attach them to sterling silver kidney wires to make a classic, drop, dangling earring.

Measurements: The circles are approximately 1.2cm diameter.  The drop is about 3.5cm.
