A classic pair of Wild Shores Sterling Silver Herringbone half hoop stud earrings.

These elegant earrings are made from sterling silver which I etched, using the Edinburgh etch method, in a pattern abstracted from the Herringbone weave associated with Harris tweed.  I have my Herringbone etch replicated by casting, then form it in to various different pieces of jewellery by hand.  These I form using my hammer and swage block, solder on posts, hand finish and polish to a mirror shine.

A classic pair of earrings that work for everyday and special occasions.

They measure approximately 0.6cm wide, with a chunky thickness of 1.5mm.  The half hoop curve is just under 2cm long in total.
