A wooden nibbles bowl in the shape of a star, painted in soft cream and decoupaged inside with Scotland’s two flags – the Saltire, and the Royal Standard with its lion rampant – above a small Scotland banner.
It is made by the decoupage maker behind Cliasmol Crafts in Cliasmol, Isle of Harris. Each piece is decoupaged and finished by hand, so every bowl is unique.
The right size for crisps, nuts or sweets when folk are round, and a cheerful thing to leave out on a side table.
