Sheared from my own flock here on the Isle of Coll the yarn is a deep chocolate brown a natural result from the darkest fleece at the base of the staple.
As there is natural lanolin still in the spun wool it is quite water resistant.
Ideal for hand knitting knits up like Aran weight.
Hand wash and dry flat.

Beautiful product which my wife can’t praise enough – l wanted to buy her some wool for her favourite hobby of knitting but not just any old regular commercial stuff. This has proved to be a fabulous buy…think she deliberately wants to run out of it so we have to order some more….l’m going to be wearing a very big but gorgeous feeling jumper!
