Double tweed headband

A headband knitted in 100% lambswool in double tweed, in seaweed and cobble.

Knitted by Ann Mackie in Orkney, who runs a small knitting business in the islands.

Double tweed gives the band a close, speckled texture with the two shades flecked through one another. It is a unisex shape, wide enough to cover the ears and flat enough to sit under a hood.

A sensible gift for someone who is out in the weather more than they are in it.
