Long, flat scarf

A long, flat scarf knitted in 100% lambswool in the cubes design, in charcoal and zinc.

Designed and made by Ann Mackie in Orkney, who runs a small knitting business in the islands.

The cubes pattern is a fine grid of dark lines over a pale ground, worked through the knit so it reads the same on both sides. Being long and flat it takes a knot, a loop or a straight hang equally well, over a coat or under one.

A gift for someone with a plain winter coat that could do with something to say for itself.
