Thai Karen silver choker style gemstone necklace.

This necklace has a curved shape made out of thick solid 999 fine silver, hand formed. I have wrapped the gemstones all around the form.  These include:

Amethyst, (pink and purple) moonstone, Tanzanite, garnet, chalcedony, watermelon tormaline, iolite (water sapphire), Rose quartz, Morganite, and a few other crystals.

The tanzanite come from Tanzania, the watermelon tourmaline, chalcedony, and amethysts come from Brazil, moonstone are from Sri Lanka, plus some of the other stones, I bought at the gem faire in Germany 2 years ago, from a very nice supplier from India. He hand cuts them into these beautiful faceted shapes.

I am an artist in Benbecula in the Western Isles, who paints, designs and makes gemstone jewellery in between my care work. I am inspired by the colours, sights, smells and sounds on the landscape when on my walks.

Tanzanites are the colour of the year stones in 2022, so a great present for someone special.
