I make small batches of cold process soaps and skincare treats to my unique recipes in the beautiful Isle of Mull. All ingredients are natural, using premium base oils, aromatherapy oils and clays and seaweed to colour.
A box of 6 small shell shaped soaps with a variety of scents from my range. These may include Tea Tree and Lime, Cedarwood, Pure Plain, Rosemary and Lavender, Bergamot or Ginger and Orange. A reminder of the beach in your bathroom.
Ingredients: Olive oil, Coconut oil and RSPO Palm oil are the 3 base oils. Together they give a moisturising, cleansing and hard bar with a lovely lather. I add Vitamin E and more Olive oil once saponification* has occurred to give extra moisturising properties to the soap. Glycerine naturally forms during saponification, which hydrates and helps skin feel soft. Scents and colours will depend on which soaps are in the pack, but they are the same ingredients as the bars.
And that is it! Every ingredient is totally natural and great for your skin! Minimal ingredients and minimal packaging.
*saponification: the magical process where base oils react with an alkali to produce soap.

Sol takes its name from the start of my soap journey. Living in Spain, surrounded by olive groves and sunshine I began to make cold process soaps. 15 years later, living on the Isle of Mull, I continue to make natural soaps. The recipes have evolved over the years, but my ethos has always been to use only natural ingredients to produce high quality bars of soap that are moisturising and kind on the skin.
