I have been living and working on the Isle of Skye since 2012, and this book represents some of my favourite photos of this unique island. It depicts many different aspects but especially the unique landscape formations, including the Quiraing, the Old Man of Storr, and the Cuillin mountain range, but also other, less well-known, but still spectacular places.
It also captures the beautiful and unique light of Scotland’s west coast throughout the year. The colours and textures of the moorland, the jagged peaks, and incredible sunsets, which vary greatly over the seasons and sometimes from day to day.
The photos are printed on high quality 200gsm silk paper, and the book is bound with a hardback glossy cover.
*Please note that delivery times will vary due to covid-19 restrictions, and the remote location of the island.
This is an excellent book and highly recommended for anyone that loves Skye, particularly if you are not able to visit in person easily!
The quality of the stunning double page spread photographs really bring these landscapes to life.
Along with the second volume of equal quality, you would not want to be without this set of books if you love Skye and have an emotional connection to the Island. Highly recommended
An absolutely beautifully presented book with stunning photographs of the Isle of Skye. Would certainly recommend it – I haven’t found any other book anywhere near as lovely.
Bought as a present and want down very well.
