This is a print of an original mixed media painting. The inspiration was a walk on the West Island Way in the island of Bute on the Scottish West coast. The hills in the distance are the Isle of Arran. The original is on a birch wood panel onto which I stuck hand stamped paper and Japanese floral paper. The flowers and butterflies along the path were particularly beautiful that day in May. The art work itself is 8 inches and I have put it in a quality white mount backed by stiff card measuring 10 inches. I have placed it in a cellophane presentation bag so it would make a nice gift.
