Burnt onto oak from a whisky barrel. Although I am not a native speaker of Gaelic I believe that it is vitally important to fight to retain it as a living language and not just a academic exercise. I will do this sign on off cuts left over from my other signs. This will allow me to keep the costs down to a minimum. But the size of the piece will vary according to what is available.

I make various items in wood. Currently most of my signs are on oak from Arran whisky barrels. Things like the ashes caskets are made using timber grown in Arran and milled by a friend who lives just up the road. The products will vary slightly according to the piece of wood used. Feel free to contact me with suggestions, especially with Scottish and Gaelic sayings. I’ve just started learning Gaelic so please provide a translation.
Virtually all of the packaging I use is recycled.
