This handmade Harris Tweed patchwork quilt is based on the traditional feannagan seen throughout the Western Isles. The traditional iconic ridges throughout our landscape have been incorporated into a modern style quilt, creating a beautiful mixture of art and comfort.
Showcasing a stunning range of Harris tweed colours, each quilt is completely unique.
Backed with velvet, these quilts almost feel weighted due to the heavy duty nature of Harris tweed.
These quilts can be tailored to a colour palette of your liking e.g. pastels, blues, rainbow colours etc.
Each quilt is made from 100% pure new wool, backed with 100% polyester velvet. All tweed used is Harris tweed and comes with certified Harris tweed authority labelling. Each quilt is handmade over around 30 hours by myself at my home in South Lochs, Isle of Lewis.
The Medium quilt (size as in picture) is a minimum finished size of 75cmx110cm.
Larger quilts can be commission for an additional cost.

Each quilt is made to order so will vary in colour and pattern significantly. On purchasing I will make contact to discuss any colour preferences.  Please allow 3-4 weeks for the item to be made before being posted.
