Tile Ladies Gauntlets, Shetland Black, Pinks

A pair of fingerless gauntlets in Shetland wool, patterned along the back of the hand and up the arm in the Tile design.

They are knitted in Shetland by Sandra Williamson, in Shetland Black – a natural dark brown – with the pattern picked out in pinks. The cuff and the top edge are plain ribbing, which holds them in place.

Leaving the fingers free is the whole point. You can still find keys, use a phone, handle money or open a gate, and the length covers the gap between a coat sleeve and a cold wrist. They match a hat, a snood, a neckwarmer and a long ring scarf in the same colourway, all listed separately.
