Upcycled Sea Pottery Brooch

A brooch made from a single piece of sea pottery – a shard of old patterned china, tumbled smooth by the waves and washed up on the shore.

It is made by Driftwood Bute in the Isle of Bute.

This one keeps its green and yellow Victorian pattern, with the soft edges the sea has given it over the years. Each piece is one of a kind, so no two brooches are quite the same.

A thoughtful gift for a beachcomber, or for anyone who likes a little history they can wear.
