Woollen hat with Islay leather tab

A hand-knitted hat with a turn-up brim, worked in a wool and acrylic mix and finished with a hand-tooled leather tab showing the outline of Islay.

Made in the Isle of Islay by Islay Celtic Craft Shop, who work natural island materials into a range of small craft pieces.

The rib gives the hat plenty of stretch and a deep folded brim that sits warm over the ears. The leather tab is the maker’s calling card, embossed with the island’s coastline so you can wear it like a quiet badge of where you have been.
